Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress also known as a producer, director and actress. Her name has been acknowledged for films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with many awards for her performance, including an Oscar. The accomplished actress started her career in acting on the stage by performing in a myriad of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. From the time she was a child she's been passionate about acting. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade pupil in a school performance. Mumps caused her to be blind and deaf in one ear, but she refused to let that hinder her progress as an actress. While in college, she studied drama, she moved into New York City with her ambitions to achieve them. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure a supporting role on Swing Shift. She has since appeared in numerous films and television series and movies over a career spanning more than three decades. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
